"Jalte hein jiske liye " is originally from the movie Sujata (1959) .

I heard this song for the first time after blogger saaramgi 's suggestion . This gud-old goldie has come back after so many years in the sweet voice of singer Gayatri in the movie "Kaiyoppu" . I have tried to attempt Gayatri's version . Mine is a slower & a low pitch version than the original .

Thanks to saaramgi who helped me to get to the "feel" of this song and also to Shaniyan who helped me with the lyrics & pronounciation . Yet there are few places where my Mallu accent gets reflected ;0) , kindly excuse . As always , please feel free to comment . Dedicating this to saaramgi who asked for this song & also to Shaniyan who likes this song a lot ..

On Valentine's Day to all those who are in love n have loved & lost ;0) & to my family&friends & to my Valentine too :D ...

"Aashiqui" was one of the best musical films of the 90s which had the best romantic melodies . With the sweet mesmerising voice of Anuradha Paudwal & Kumar Sanu , all the songs esply . "Saanson ki zarurat" still stays in our heart :). Do hear my version of "Nazar ke samne",this is one of my favs among all the other favs from this movie :) ...As always point out the mistakes so that I can improve :) .. Happy Valentine's Day to all .. !!

I heard this beautiful song for the first time from Jo 's blog . I really did like the way he sang this and only after that I heard the original . The best part of this song is its lyrics by Ponkunnam Damodaran . They are very simple but "dreamy" & hearing this song , anyone will feel like to "sway" like the heroine does in the movie . Though I had been thinking of trying this song eversince I heard it , it took me so long to sing & post it . Here is my version of it .

Swarna chaamaram - is a beautiful kavitha sung by K.J.Yesudas ,music by Devarajan, from the movie Yakshi.This was a song which was heard n lost in memories. I have a special liking to this song, coz of my Mother. This is one of the many songs she used to sing always ..!! Also,this is a fav song of one of my dearest friends out here too, she is one of the best ppl I have ever met in my life & she was the one who brought this song back to me after these many years.

As always after singing this I felt like, I could have done better, but dint feel like ditching this one.

Hi all .. was MIA for a while !! Now back with a new mic :0). Was thinking which one to do , remembered that Kiran asked to re-do "manjinte marayitta" when I get a new mic. Did it . "Har kisi ko" is one of my all-time favs. from the movie " Jaanbaaz" . Still remember watching the song for the first time . Love this song a lott, for its lyrics and the music. Music by Kalyanji-Anandji ,sung by Manhar & Sadhana Sargam ,played by my all -time fav " Sridevi" n Feroz Khan.

This is one song that I hold very dear to my heart always .. forever .. Hearing the song made me low all the times, but singing it , made me very happyy today.. :)

Took a break from my studies and did this song ,for one of my close friends. So, here is my version of this beautiful song.. Do excuse , if there is any hindi mizzz-pronctn. . Comments welcome .

"Kallaayi Kadavathu " is one of my most favs. of all the romantic songs..Like it specially for its lyrics and music. Such a pleasant song it is...originally sung by Sujatha & Jayachandran for the movie " Perumazhakalam".

This is my first trial using Karaoke ..There were few flaws initially , but thanks to my blog-friend Shaniyan, who took his precious time ,to make it sound as good as it is now .
